Mohammed Ullah was convicted of the murder of infant Kyle Mutch his step-son. Prominent pathologist Dr. Ian Walters has cast doubt over the conviction, stating that there is ‘no evidence’ to suggest that Mohammed committed the crime. Dr. Walters went onto state that the injuries sustained to baby Kyle were likely to be the result of a tragic accident occurring several hours prior to the child’s death. Karen Mutch, Mohammed Ullah’s wife and baby Kyle’s mother, who was a main witness for the prosecution, now believes that the vital evidence she gave against Mohammed was incorrect and was given under pressure from the Police. Mohammed Ullah is currently serving a life sentence. He maintains his innocence and continues to fight for his freedom.
