Michael Luvaglio

Michael Luvaglio was convicted along with Dennis Stafford in 1967 for the murder of Angus Stuart Sibbett. The case became known as the One -Armed Bandit Murder. Michael Luvaglio has maintained his innocence for over forty year striving to clear his name. The case has been heard unsuccessfully at the appeal court on two occasions and also in the House of Lords. In 2007 the Criminal Cases Review Commission(C.C.R.C.) refused to send the case back to the Appeal Court for a third time. Michael is currently trying to have the case again looked at by the C.C.R.C. but needs new evidence to do so. There seems to be a wide range of inconsistencies and flaws in the case which led to the convictions. Michael has offered a £10,000 reward for new information in the case.
